Hello, my name is Basil :). I'm an eighteen year from the biohazard that is known as the midwestern United States. I'm currently studying Biology with hopes of obtaining a Microbiology degree. I started this website in order to satiate my curiosity about webmastery and to express myself without the cold restraints of modern social media. I'm an ever evolving creative, so profile pictures and banners won't ever be enough.

I am queer, and I want that to be reflected in this mess of spaghetti code. Being raised by self loathing Protestants made my dysphoria feel like a festering disease, constantly mutating and increasingly starving for my attention as time went on. The day I qualified for informed consent was when my life really started, and from then on I promised myself that I would only give up tesosterone over my dead body. It has helped keep the worst tumors at bay, and is preventing me from hacking my chest away with a rusty razor while I wait for top surgery.

I am deeply infatuated with the arts, especially music and painting. I am a guitarist and a keyboard dabbler, I would love to own a synthesizer one day but for now my Stylophone will do. Some of my favorite bands include Bauhaus, Death Cab For Cutie, Descendents, Depeche Mode, Sisters of Mercy, My Chemical Romance, New Order, The Cure, The Smiths, and Against Me! Obviously my tastes skew a little vintage, but I am always looking for the next big thing as well. In regards to the visual arts I love throwing myself at any and every genre. I'm familiar with watercolor, stenciling, digital pinting, pixel art, and drawing on foggy windows. I believe art is vital to the human experience and I mourn whoever has cast it away.
